The Resource and Referral team is here to help you find the best services to meet your needs. Serving individuals and families residing in Blackburn Hamlet, Beacon Hill, Carlsbad Springs, Gloucester and Gloucester South.

Whether it be helping you find immediate assistance, planning for an upcoming change, or assistance with basic needs, our team is there to support you through your time of need. Our goal is to help bridge the gap between sources of support.

I am a Syrian refugee and I arrived with my family to Canada in 2017. Since I arrived and until now, the Eastern Ottawa Resource Centre has been provinding me and my family with all the support I need . I am very grateful to the EORC’s management and staff for all the support me and my family. The Centre has created a variety of programs, events and projects for newcomers, which helped me and my family to integrate smoothly in the Canadian society and have a better understanding of the Canadian culture and values.

I am so glad to have been referred to eastern Ottawa resource Centre during my lowest point in my life. I have met very supportive staff. I was one of those women who never thought I would need help in any areas of my life especially personal life, as I was raised to be strong and independent. I met with housing counsellor, she was supportive and still is, gave so much encouragement and reassured that I will get through my situation. “she said “you will one day call me and say, I am where I want to be, I will carry her words and advice with me forever and I will make that call, when I arrive there.
