Programs Against Abuse
Client Centred | Respect | Compassion | Accountability | Collaboration | Integrity
The Eastern Ottawa Resource Centre is committed to providing support to women and children of all cultures, religions ages and sexual orientations who continue to live with or have left an abusive partner, live a life free of abuse.
Through our feminist perspective, our counselors ensure that women are informed of their rights and are better equipped to reach their goals, whether it is to safely flee a situation of abuse or wanting to rebuild confidence and self-esteem.
I am very grateful for the resource center helping me out in my family court process. I have a wonderful worker she supports me with the court dates an provides me with the legal information. Nowadays lawyers are so busy and they don’t have time to explain everything but thanks to family support workers they help with things that are not clear. Very big thank you for my support worker for everything she is doing to help me. I hope that this kind of service will keep helping people in need.
